Per-person vs. day rate
For small teams, most DFW photographers charge per person — typically $125–$275 a head, depending on retouching and how the session runs. For a handful of people, that's the simplest way to buy.
Once you're past roughly 15–20 people, a half-day or full-day rate is almost always cheaper than paying per head. A half-day on-site (around 4 hours) comfortably covers about 10 people; a full day handles a larger team.
What actually drives the price
Three things move the number: how many people, how much retouching you want, and whether the photographer comes to you. On-site shoots cost a little more in setup but save your whole team from leaving the building — usually worth it.
