Turning gym walk-ins into members — without the front-desk busywork

A Brazilian jiu-jitsu gym needed more than a pretty website — it needed a system that converts a curious walk-in into a paying member and runs the membership underneath. We built the brand, the site, and the platform as one piece.

The problem

Most gym websites are a brochure with a logo on it — a few photos, a phone number, and a dead end. The real work of a gym happens after someone is interested: booking a trial, signing up, paying, and actually showing up. That was all manual, and it leaked prospects at every step.

House of Grapplers didn't need a brochure. They needed the trial-to-member journey to run itself, so the team could coach instead of chase paperwork.

What we built

We treated the brand, the website, and the membership platform as one connected system rather than three separate projects. The brand had to read as serious to competitors and welcoming to first-timers; the site had to sell the trial; and the platform underneath had to handle the trial flow, sign-ups, and membership without a front-desk bottleneck.

Because one team built all of it, nothing was lost in handoffs — the messaging, the design, and the software all say the same thing.

Why it matters

This is the proof behind everything we tell other founders: we don't ship pretty trash. We've built a real product where real members sign up and real money moves — so when we build your site, we know what it actually has to do.

Outcomes

  • A trial flow that converts walk-ins into members without manual admin
  • Brand, website, and membership platform that finally match
  • A system the team can run themselves — built to operate, not just look good
